Repeat Photo Project
Permanent fixed-point photography is an established technique for documenting ecological change and is an exciting way to raise awareness and provide the wider community with an opportunity to contribute valuable visual data.
Through the TEER Program’s Repeat Photo Project four public photo-points have been installed along the kanamaluka / Tamar estuary. These locations represent each of the estuary’s three tidal wetland types: freshwater wetlands, Melaleuca ericifolia, and saltmarsh.
With the help of the community, the Repeat Photo Project will build a collection of imagery that may be used to assess changes over time including erosion and broad changes in vegetation cover and species composition.
How can I contribute my photos?
You can contribute your photos by emailing them directly to the TEER Program (info@teer.org.au) or scanning the QR code attached to each photo post and uploading them via an online form. Please include the DATE and your FULL NAME if you’d like to be credited.
